HOUSE GROUPS

Have you ever wondered what they are? What they do? Have you ever said, “They’re not for me!”
Let’s dissolve some of the mystery.
House Groups are helpful for fellowship, and to develop friendships with the casual aquaintances you have made at church. They give the opportunity for us to support each other on our Christian road, and to share our knowledge and experiences. If you are a little unsure, why not ask someone to come along with you?

THE KILLAY/DUNVANT HOUSE GROUP meets once a month, usually on the third Thursday evening of the month. The format varies, but often a short prayer is followed by a Bible study brought to the group by one of the members, which is discussed for about twenty minutes. This is followed by a concern (which can be about anything), brought by a different member. Coffee follws, when neither the Bible passage or the concern are discussed. After this the Bible passage and the concern are looked at again to see if they say anything to each other. Usually they do!

BIBLE STUDY - led by our minister - all takes place regularly - look at the latest newsletter for more details.
